CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune System

Dora Franco, B.Sc., D.O., BI-D ( ) completed the Course CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune System. This Course teaches the attributes and functions involved in the body’s immune response along with methods for assisting the performance of the immune system.

The immune system is composed of cells, organs and specialised tissues, all working together to protect its owner from invasions by viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi, allergens and, hopefully, from own cells when they run rampant and develop tumours. When your immune system is working properly it helps maintain good health. Yet occasionally your immune system may become dysfunctional and cause malignant and/or autoimmune diseases.

Taking practical approaches developed by Dr. John E. Upledger from personal clinical experiences, this Course studies the various glands and organs involved in the immune system and explores the production of various molecules of communication. During this advanced Course the therapists get acquaintance with the components of the immune system, as the total system in a holistic sense.

Experienced highly qualified therapists can deal with different cell types in order to help improve their performance and by doing that respond better to the patients’ health needs.
